This is a superb opportunity for an Accountant to develop under the tutelage of a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager.
The Role
Complete consolidated month-end reporting and provide variance analysis
Involvement in external audit process and assist with preparation of consolidated financial statements
Assist with group income tax return
Complete month end tasks such as journal preparation, reconciliations, financial analysis and commentary for reporting packs
Your Skills
Completed relevant degree in commerce or similar and either CPA/CA qualified or part way through
It is an advantage if you have experience in a medium to large business commercial business or are coming from audit/business services in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
Ideally you come with some exposure to preparing financial statements and providing variance analysis insights
Capability to problem solve, work effectively under deadlines, and collaborate with a broad of personnel in finance & other departments
