ABOUT US
SJI Global is the parent company behind Spectech and Slab Jack Industries - specialist contracting businesses operating across residential, strata, commercial and infrastructure sectors throughout Australia.
The group delivers waterproofing, protective coatings, concrete repair, slab lifting, ground improvement and leak rectification - from local residential and strata projects through to larger commercial and specialist infrastructure works.
We are continuing to build stronger systems, better operational support and more organised infrastructure as the business grows. This role will play an important part in that.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a hands-on Workshop & Logistics Coordinator to help take ownership of our workshop, fleet, stock control and operational support systems from our Yatala headquarters.
This is not a standard warehouse/storeman role. We are looking for someone practical, mechanically minded and organised - someone who takes pride in keeping equipment, vehicles, stock and operational support systems running properly.
The role will support both Spectech and Slab Jack Industries across workshop organisation, project mobilisation, equipment readiness, fleet coordination and general operational support.
There is also opportunity to assist with fabrication, welding and workshop improvement works during quieter periods.
This role suits someone who likes order, structure, problem solving and practical responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage workshop organisation and operational readiness
Coordinate stock control, consumables and equipment management
Assist with fleet maintenance coordination and equipment servicing
Prepare and support project mobilisations,



deliveries and freight logistics
Assist with loading/unloading trucks and workshop operations
Support maintenance and organisation of Slab Jack and Spectech equipment
Assist with fabrication and welding works where required
Help improve workshop systems, storage and operational efficiency
Coordinate deliveries, pickups and supplier collections
Maintain a clean, organised and functional workshop setting
ABOUT YOU
Required:
Mechanically minded with practical problem-solving ability
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
Reliable, proactive and takes ownership of tasks
Current driver's licence
Forklift licence or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in a hands-on workshop environment
Highly regarded:
Mechanical, workshop or trade background
HR licence
Welding and fabrication experience
Experience managing stock, tools or workshop systems
Construction, civil or contracting industry experience
Test & tag ticket
WHAT WE OFFER
$40 - $55/hr + superannuation based on experience
Full-time role based at our Yatala headquarters
