is looking for a reliable and motivated Garden Maintenance Team Member to join our growing team.
We are a family-run landscaping and garden maintenance business, working across a range of residential, commercial, retirement village, strata body corporate and in-home care properties around Adelaide.
At HortiGreen Landscapes, we look after gardens that genuinely matter from long-term homeowners to elderly clients who rely on us to keep their outdoor spaces safe, tidy and enjoyable.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, is proud to wear the HortiGreen uniform, and wants to be part of a team that cares about quality, attention to detail and great customer service.
About the Role
You will be working as part of our garden maintenance team, helping maintain outdoor spaces to a high standard. Previous experience in lawn mowing, garden maintenance, hedging, pruning or general garden care is highly regarded, but not essential for the right person. Basic knowledge of gardening tools and equipment would be great, however on-the-job training will be provided. What matters most is a good attitude, reliability, willingness to learn, and taking pride in your work.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include
Lawn mowing, edging, whipper snipping and blow down
Brush cutting, weeding, pruning and hedge trimming
Mulching, seasonal garden care and general garden tidy-ups
Monitoring plant health and reporting pests, weeds or disease issues
Minor irrigation checks and basic repairs where required
Operating and maintaining standard garden equipment safely
Managing green waste and leaving all work areas clean and tidy
Communicating professionally and respectfully with clients
Working alongside other team members to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard




Carrying out basic site checks and reporting any issues to your supervisor

What You Need
Experience in lawn mowing, gardening or garden maintenance preferred
Current driver's licence required
Experience driving with a trailer preferred (or willingness to learn)
Ability to operate mowing equipment, brush cutters, blowers and garden tools safely
Strong work ethic and valuable attention to detail
Reliability and good time management
Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
Ability to perform physical and manual labour tasks
Willingness to work as part of a team
Good communication skills and a respectful approach with clients
Legal right to work in Australia
Police Clearance or willingness to obtain oneWorking with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
Qualifications are great, but not a deal-breaker.
A Cert III in Horticulture or similar experience is highly regarded.
Tickets such as chainsaw, white card or first aid are a bonus, or willingness to obtain.
