About the Opportunity
We're looking for a
Distribution Centre TA Specialist
to support the attraction, selection, and retention of award-based team members across our supermarket distribution centre. This role connects leaders, labour hire partners, and community groups to ensure we have the right people in place to achieve strong productivity and safety outcomes.
In this Role
Be the first point of contact for interviews and candidate selection across casual, part time, and full-time roles
Partner with labour hire agencies and internal stakeholders to maintain a consistent, high-quality workforce
Coordinate pre-employment medicals and liaise with our internal health & injury management team
Support leaders in onboarding, probation, and driving strong retention outcomes
Build pipelines by engaging with local community groups, institutions, and alternative labour pools
Manage internal referral processes and support literacy/numeracy assessments for new hires
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance candidate and team member experience
Collate and report on recruitment activity, market trends, and distribution centre workforce KPIs
You're Likely a Match If
Strong administration, planning,
and organising skills
Experience using a variety of sourcing strategies (direct hire, labour hire, community, social media)
Knowledge of warehouse DC operations, including storeworker, MHE (e.g., forklift, EPJ), and inventory management
Understanding of local labour market trends and EVP-based attraction strategies
Proven ability to influence and partner with leadership teams and external providers
Experience managing labour hire relationships in a warehouse or supply chain environment
A track record of building relationships at all levels — from leadership teams to frontline award-based staff
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
