Role Overview:
As a Management Accountant specializing in Financial Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information and reports. You will be responsible for overseeing various financial control activities, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making, and maintaining robust financial processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and insights to senior management.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business performance reviews, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Financial Control:
Prepare balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.
Assist in the monitoring of liquidity and cashflow analysis..
Process Improvement:




Identify and drive process improvements within the financial control function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing financial insights and support for various business initiatives.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures, and support internal and external audit processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
CA/CPA studying or qualified
Proven experience in financial control, management accounting, or similar roles within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
