Purchasing Officer
Job Description-
Ensure customer orders are delivered on time as per agreed service level.
Ensuring availability of right inventory at right time.
Resolving issues of stock availability with sales and other functions.
E2E responsibility of local bought out items
Assist the ANZ Supply Chain Manager, to manage stock planning activities and providing day to day support (both proactive and reactive) on any of the issues already referred to, as well as response to immediate/unusual situations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Placing of orders to Vendors through ERP and manually.
Responsible for and executes import scheduling processes to ensure OTD is met.
Focuses on schedule development and provides follow up on the execution of purchase orders placed to local vendors.
Monitors stock availability, orders and performs various tasks necessary to schedule.
Responsible for providing product availability information to business.
Generating planning sheet and demand for placing purchase orders.
Supervise master data creation in oracle
Supervise sales orders changes in oracle
Developing S&OP; process.
Coordinating with sales for forecast and its accuracy at the same time fulfilling of current orders in hand.
Various report generation and tracking
Candidate "must haves"
– Bachelor degree-desirable , Experience of 3-5 years. Thorough Oracle and MS Office knowledge. Sound interpersonal/ influencing skills would also be required with respect to internal & external customers. Communication skills. Experience in managing planning function, handling of 3PL Delivering Results Through Others and Champion customer focus.
