About Us
Empire Nightclub & Platinum Bar & Lounge are two of the Gold Coast's leading nightlife venues. We're looking for an organised, proactive and trustworthy Operations & Finance Coordinator to help keep our businesses running efficiently behind the scenes.
This is not a traditional administration role. You'll be responsible for ensuring our financial and operational systems stay organised, allowing management to focus on growing the business.
Responsibilities
Finance Administration
Upload invoices and receipts into Xero daily
Ensure all supplier invoices are received and correctly filed
Match receipts with transactions
Liaise with our external bookkeepers
Prepare weekly payroll information
Process payroll files once approved
Monitor outstanding supplier invoices
Assist with GST and compliance requirements
Reconcile daily venue takings
Operations
Maintain employee files
Assist with onboarding new staff
Create employment paperwork
Order venue supplies
Track maintenance requests
Manage company email inboxes
Keep business records organised
Schedule meetings and follow up outstanding tasks
Reporting
Provide management with a weekly report including:
Cash position
Outstanding invoices
Payroll summary
Upcoming payments
Maintenance issues
Staffing updates
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has strong Xero experience
Has experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration
Is highly organised
Has excellent attention to detail
Can work independently
Is confident following up managers and suppliers
Has strong communication skills
Maintains confidentiality
Hospitality experience is an advantage
