as the
Manager Perioperative Services
a pivotal leadership role responsible for delivering best-practice clinical outcomes for patients, Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and caregivers.
This role provides strategic and operational leadership across perioperative services, ensuring excellence in clinical practice, person-centred care, effective resource stewardship and strong stakeholder relationships.
Y
ou will lead quality, safety and performance outcomes by monitoring clinical standards against benchmarks, including nurse-sensitive indicators, incident data and satisfaction measures, and implementing improvement actions where required.
The role will initially assist with commissioning of the new hospital and play
a key part in accreditation and regulatory processes, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and ensuring patients and consumers are actively involved in planning and decision-making.
With accountability for financial and workforce performance, you will manage budgets, productivity, rostering, on-call and overtime practices, while overseeing recruitment, retention, succession planning and workforce models of care.
Working closely with hospital leadership,



you will contribute to service development, marketing to medical practitioners, and the delivery of innovative, high-quality perioperative services that meet current and future demands.
You
will hold registration as a
Registered Nurse with
AHPRA
,
have
advanced
perioperative
expertise
, and a strong commitment to quality improvement,
accreditation
and clinical risk management.
Y
ou will bring senior nursing leadership experience within an acute hospital setting, with proven capability to lead and delegate effectively, manage budgets and operational performance, and foster positive, service-focused team cultures.
You apply sound judgement and strong change leadership, with the ability to manage risk, balance competing priorities and confidently use digital systems to support the delivery of safe, high-quality care.

About the new Midland Private Hospital
A brand-new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility, currently under construction, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus.
A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services,



with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region
The hospital will feature:
96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependency unit.
33-bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit
Eight operating theatres.
A cardiac/vascular catheter laboratory
We can offer you
Salary: $145,914 per annum, plus 12% Superannuation
Permanent Full-Time position, working Monday to Friday
