Your role at St John of God Bunbury Hospital
The Allied Health department at St John of God Bunbury is a diverse and inclusive team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients from a wide range of backgrounds. We are currently seeking
Casual and Permanent part/full-time Physiotherapists
with weekend availability to join our multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will provide clinical physiotherapy services using evidence-based practices, ensuring adherence to the Australian Physiotherapy Association
Code of Conduct
and SJGHC policies and guidelines.
Our hospital offers a comprehensive range of physiotherapy services to inpatients, including acute medical care, palliative care, and pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation. The Position
Provide high quality evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable.
Using patient-centered care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients.
Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings
Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities
Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.




Assist with education and training programs for students as requested
Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties arising from each session instructed. This requires liaison with the office administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation.
Attend staff meetings and present at professional development sessions as required.
Delegate to other staff members where appropriate e.g. Allied Health Assistants, or students.
Liaise with other staff and educate staff about patient/client care.
Maintain effective communication with patients, their families, staff and external health professionals and agencies to ensure quality patient management.
Candidates must hold a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and maintain current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Successful applicants will have demonstrated experience delivering physiotherapy services within relevant clinical settings, including proficiency in providing hydrotherapy treatments.
Robust interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential, including the ability to effectively utilise technology for communication. Additionally,



candidates should demonstrate the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

We can offer you
Salary
: $85,508 to $120,255 (pro-rata) plus 12% superannuation
Casual Rate:
$***** to $***** (including 25% casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
Permanent part/full-time and casual roles available
