About the Role
As a Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our people are paid accurately, on time, and in line with legislation and organisational policies. Reporting to the Payroll Coordinator, you'll support end-to-end payroll processing, maintain accurate employee records, and contribute to high-quality financial and compliance functions.
This position can be based at either our Victor Harbor or Edwardstown Office.
Your responsibilities will include
Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing and maintaining complete and accurate records.
Supporting the Payroll Coordinator and Finance team with routine payroll functions and reporting.
Preparing payroll-related reports and assisting with statutory requirements including superannuation and workers compensation.
Assisting with termination and redundancy calculations, year end payroll processing and reconciliation, and liaison and auditors as directed.
Providing leave coverage for the Payroll Coordinator during periods of planned leave.
This role is central to our commitment to accuracy, transparency, and supporting our employees across the organisation.




About You
You are a detailed-oriented, organised payroll qualified who thrives in a fast-paced enviroment and enjoys contributing to process accuracy and improvement. You will bring:
Good understanding of payroll and HR legislation, including awards, taxation, and superannuation.
Experience preparing payroll-related reports and working with accounting/payroll systems.
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and payroll/accounting software.
Excellent communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A flexible and collaborative approach to working with a diverse range of people.

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Finance or a relevant field
