Homes NSW is leading the delivery of social and affordable housing, homelessness responses and public housing services across NSW. Within this, the Disaster Welfare and Business Continuity (DWBC) Procurement team plays an important role in supporting service continuity and emergency response capability.
We are looking for a motivated Administrative Officer to support procurement and business operations through high-quality administrative, coordination and customer service support.
Your role
As an Administrative Officer, you will provide essential administrative and office support to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the DWBC Procurement business unit.
You will support procurement processes, manage business information, coordinate activities and provide customer-focused administrative services that enable the team to deliver services effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will:
Provide administrative and office support to assist procurement and business operations
Process business documentation, including contract and procurement related administration
Maintain accurate records, filing systems and business information in line with policies and standards
Prepare documents, reports and presentation materials using relevant systems and technology
Support the coordination of meetings, business activities and information flow across the team
Provide customer service and reception support as required




Assist with improving administrative processes and systems to support business efficiency
Support other team members across the administration function as needed
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and customer-focused, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
You will bring:
Experience providing administrative or business support in a corporate or government environment
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage information accurately and securely
Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Confidence using business systems and Microsoft Office applications
Experience supporting procurement, contracts administration or finance processes will be highly regarded.
