If you're a Rehabilitation Consultant or Allied Health Professional with workers' compensation experience looking to step away from clinic or desk-based work, this could be a great next step into a more mobile role where you'll be out in the field, working directly with people and making a real difference every day.
The purpose of this role is to focus on early, timely and personal face-to-face claims management, helping injured workers return to work and supporting their employers.
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel across the region to support our stakeholders, with a maximum travel time of 3 hours one way.
You will undertake approximately 8 visits per week to best support our customers.
A laptop, mobile phone,



and either a fleet car or car allowance will be provided to support travel across the region as required.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver personalised face-to-face assistance to workers and employersProvide workers' compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers employers and providersConduct community visits inclusive of but not limited to work sites or medical clinicsPro-actively achieve the optimum outcome of recovery and early sustainable return to work for workersConsult with Providers, Employers and Return to Work Specialists where requiredABOUT YOUStrong Rehabilitation / Return to Work experience required, with demonstrated background as a Rehabilitation Consultant, Allied Health Professional, or experienced Workers Compensation Case ManagerKnowledge of the NSW workers' compensation legislation and regulationsEffective listener and conflict resolution skills.Ability to understand the needs of people recovering from a physical or psychological injury and knowledge of what is important to maximise recovery and return to workExcellent attention to detail, organisational skills, written and verbal proficiencyAllied Health background is desirable - understanding of medical terminology and injury recovery timeframesCurrent unrestricted NSW Driver's LicenseWHAT WE OFFERWe stand together as equals.
