Basis of Employment: Full-time (38 hours per week)

Salary: $74,000 to $80,000 + 12% Superannuation
Bombay Pavilion is an iconic fine dining restaurant located in Bungendore serving Indian cuisine and are looking for a full-time cook to work 38 hours per week.
We are looking for a cook to join our team in Bungendore.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1-year full-time work experience in their relevant occupation, preferably in Indian cuisine.
The ideal candidate must think innovatively and can work in a team.
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and a great dining experience for our guests.
Duties & Responsibilities as a Cook:
•Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
•Assist with food preparation,



portioning, and presentation
•Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen work areas
•Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures
•Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and storage
•Work efficiently during busy service periods
•Support the Chef and kitchen team as required
•Effective time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, volume, and deadlines.
Qualifications:
•Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Relevant qualifications desired.
Skills and other requirements for the position:
•Have a minimum of 1-year full-time work experience in the relevant role.
•Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
•Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
•Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
•Solid teamwork and communication skills
•Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
