Position: Restaurant Manager
Basis of Employment: Full time (38 hours per week)
Location of workplace: 40 Malbon St, Bungendore NSW ****
Salary: $74,000 to $80,000 + 12% Superannuation
Bombay Pavilion is an iconic fine dining restaurant located in Bungendore serving Indian cuisine and are looking for a full-time Restaurant Manager to work 38 hours per week.
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our team in Bungendore.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1-year full-time work experience as a Restaurant Manager.
The ideal candidate must think innovatively and oversee daily operations, balancing guest satisfaction, staff management, budgeting, and safety.
Duties & Responsibilities as Restaurant Manager:
•Manage and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service, efficient workflow, and a positive customer experience.
•Work with chefs to plan and update menus based on seasonal ingredients, customer demand, pricing, and cost control.
•Organise and coordinate special functions, including customer enquiries, bookings, staffing, and service arrangements.
•Arrange the purchase and pricing of food, beverages,



and other supplies while maintaining quality standards and budget requirements.
•Keep accurate records of stock levels, sales, wastage, purchases, and financial transactions using POS and inventory systems.
•Ensure the dining area, kitchen, and service facilities are clean, safe, functional, and compliant with health and hygiene regulations.
•Communicate with customers to check their satisfaction, handle complaints, and resolve service issues in a professional manner.
•Select, train, roster, supervise, and support restaurant staff to maintain high service standards and efficient team performance.
•Assist with reservations, welcoming guests, seating customers, and taking orders during busy service periods when required.
Qualifications:
•Diploma in Hospitality Management or a Higher qualification in relevant field desired.
Skills and other requirements for the position:
•Have a minimum of 1-year full-time work experience in the relevant role.
•Ability to work under pressure.
•Ability to motivate, mentor, and lead a diverse hospitality team.
•Have knowledge of Food Handling and Food Safety procedures.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Strong conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities.
