As
Marketing Expert - Marketing Operations and Safe Business,
you'll be at the heart of how we keep our marketing and communications safe, clear and compliant - from obligation training and regulatory readiness, through to control design and risk guidance.
In this
6 month fixed term contract
, you'll play a key part in strengthening our risk culture, uplifting our controls and empowering our most creative people to confidently deliver work that meets both brand and regulatory expectations.
What you'll do
Maintain effective Line 1 risk oversight
by supporting the end-to-end marketing risk rhythm, including timely management of risk events, issues, reporting, and control testing.
Increase marketing risk capability and confidence
by equipping teams with practical training, tools, and resources that enable explicit understanding and consistent application of marketing and communications obligations.
Reduce risk friction while protecting outcomes
through the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of pragmatic controls that support safe, efficient marketing delivery.
Strengthen business decisions within risk appetite
by acting as a trusted Line 1 advisor, providing clear, commercially balanced risk advice to cross-functional partners.
Improve efficiency, consistency, and control
by streamlining workflows, reducing manual processes, and embedding risk requirements into platforms such as MRM and DAM.
Deliver aligned, workable risk solutions
by collaborating closely with Legal, Compliance, ODCR, Brand, Product, Audit and other 3LoD stakeholders.
What we're looking for
Experience in marketing, risk or conduct risk
. Preferably in regulated industries like banking, insurance or financial services.
Proven understanding of
regulatory frameworks, legal risk and approval governance
for customer communications.
Proven experience leading or contributing to
event and issue management, issue remediation, control testing and audits
Exceptional
facilitation and communication skills
. You'll run training sessions, lead change with senior stakeholders, and provide constructive, clear feedback.
Confidence influencing stakeholders with competing priorities, including senior marketing, legal and compliance partners
Ability to balance commercial objectives with brand integrity and risk management
High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
