About This Opportunity
In this role, you will coordinate projects and events, provide administrative support, and act as the first point of contact for staff and HDR students within UQ's Climate Change and Energy Transitions Networks. You'll play a key role in keeping these agile research communities running smoothly and connecting people across the University.
These Networks bring together leading researchers to showcase UQ's expertise and drive collaboration on critical global challenges in climate change and energy transitions.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinate projects, events, and administrative activities for the Climate Change and Energy Transitions Networks.
Serve as the first point of contact for staff and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students within the Networks.
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and liaise with professional support services across UQ.
Support collaboration and engagement across the Networks to highlight UQ's expertise in climate change and energy research.

About You
A degree with at least four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
Highly organised, with excellent time management, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong business and administrative skills, including project coordination experience.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, University administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia, qualifications, criminal history check.
