About the role
The firm are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team; they would also be open to Intermediate Accountants looking to make the move up to Senior.
This role will be key in being able to help manage a well-established portfolio of exciting clients - including SME's up to $120million in turnover.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements and taxation returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
Assisting with taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
Managing client interactions and responsibilities
Mentoring and training junior staff members including some review work
Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience in Business Services
Proficiency with
Xero
Completed or currently studying towards your
CA/CPA qualification
A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
