Your role at St John of God Midland Hospital
We currently have opportunities for dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Neonatal Services team, with increasing activity, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and growing unit.
Our Maternity Unit comprises a 24-bed ward and five modern birth suites, offering a supportive and welcoming environment for families. As one of the busiest hospitals in the region, St John of God Midland Hospital operates within a dynamic and fast-paced setting with increasing demand for public maternity services. The Position
Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
Maintains and develops clinical skills in order to care for patients appropriate to level of competence.
Delivers a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.
Adheres to and supports hospital policies, procedures and standards.
Acts as the patient's advocate and facilitate the rights of individuals.
Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
Participates in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.
Prioritises workload using resources effectively.
Provides supervision to Enrolled Nurses, students and PCAs as required.
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses who hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). The ideal candidate will bring recent clinical experience within neonatal environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.




This role requires the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, along with well-developed communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. A sound knowledge of relevant acts, codes, and professional standards is essential, as is a demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development

Salary
: $82,945 to $106,630 per annum pro rata, plus 12% superannuation
