Program Director - SAP S/4HANA Transformation
Contract Term: 12-month engagement
Daily Rate: Up to $1,745 + Super per day, based on experience

A major organisation is undertaking a significant ERP modernisation, transitioning from legacy SAP ECC to a contemporary S/4HANA landscape. To lead this critical transformation, we are seeking an accomplished Program Director with deep SAP expertise and a track record of delivering complex, high-value technology programmes across enterprise environments.This is a senior appointment offering substantial scope, executive visibility, and the chance to shape a long-term ERP future state.
The Role
The Program Director will own the strategy, governance, and delivery of a multi-stream SAP S/4HANA transformation. You will operate at both executive and programme-execution levels, defining the roadmap, ensuring alignment across business and technology teams, and steering delivery through a structured and disciplined programme framework.You will act as the key conduit between senior leadership, programme sponsors, technical specialists, and delivery partners, ensuring clarity of direction and confidence in execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of an enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
Establish governance, assurance frameworks, programme structures, and reporting mechanisms to support executive oversight.
Develop and manage the programme roadmap, delivery strategy, financials, risks,



dependencies, and change impacts.
Provide guidance and recommendations to senior executives and steering committees on design, investment decisions, and risk posture.
Oversee all delivery partners and commercial arrangements, ensuring alignment, performance, and value for money.
Build and mentor high-performing programme teams; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Ensure business readiness across impacted domains, including process uplift, change management, and operating model alignment.
About You
Deep experience leading major SAP programmes, including S/4HANA implementations or upgrades.
Strong strategic leadership capability with the ability to influence senior executives and guide complex decision-making.
Demonstrated success managing multi-stream programmes with significant budget, operational impact, and public visibility.
Advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with comfort presenting at executive and board-level forums.
Proven ability to drive delivery at pace while maintaining rigorous governance and financial control.
Previous experience in large, complex, or public-sector environments advantageous.
