About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced
Security Supervisor
to join a leading Australian university located in Sydney's CBD. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.
This position is paid at
Level 5 – $***** per hour plus superannuation and applicable shift loadings
. The campus operates 24/7, and the role is based on an
attractive 4 on / 4 off rotating roster
, covering
days, nights, weekends and public holidays
.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and support security officers during shifts
Lead responses to incidents and emergency situations
Ensure compliance with site procedures, WHS and university policies
Coordinate with the security control room and emergency services
Conduct patrols and oversee campus security activities
Complete incident reports, shift handovers and documentation
Essential requirements
Current NSW unrestricted security licence




Valid First Aid and CPR certification
Certificate III in Security Operations
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or senior security role
Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
Ability to pass police checks and other relevant clearances
