Day & Night Healthcare is a national healthcare distributor supplying hospitals, aged care facilities and healthcare providers throughout Australia.
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Western Australia operation based in Welshpool.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for warehouse operations, transport coordination, inventory accuracy, customer service and developing a high-performing team.
This position reports directly to the National Branch Manager and has responsibility for the Warehouse Supervisor, warehouse staff and local delivery drivers.

About the Role
You will be responsible for the overall performance of the Western Australia branch, ensuring safety, efficiency, customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy while continually improving operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop the Warehouse Supervisor and warehouse team.
Manage day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations.
Ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
Drive warehouse productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain inventory accuracy through effective stock control processes.
Oversee receiving, put-away, replenishment and dispatch activities.
Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs including:
Picking accuracy
Inventory accuracy
Labour productivity
Safety performance
Manage local transport scheduling and fleet utilisation.
Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance and compliance.
Ensure all OH&S; policies and procedures are adhered to.
Maintain warehouse presentation and housekeeping standards.
Liaise with carriers, suppliers and customers regarding operational requirements.
Investigate and resolve customer service issues.
Conduct regular stocktakes and inventory investigations.
Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows and efficiencies.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience managing warehouse operations.
Proven experience leading and developing teams.
Strong knowledge of warehouse systems and inventory management.
Experience within transport, logistics or distribution.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A focus on safety, quality and customer service.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Current forklift licence.
Current Western Australia driver's licence.
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check.
Current COVID-19 vaccination status in line with customer and healthcare facility requirements.
Willingness to receive an annual influenza vaccination as required by healthcare customers.
