, and we're looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves working with people, and enjoys being part of a fun, creative industry.
About the Role
As our Retail Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, leading a team of up to 6 staff members, and ensuring every customer has an outstanding experience.
Permanent position working
4 - 5 days per week including Saturdays.
Lead, motivate and support a team of up to 6+ staff members.
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high store standards.
Help customers find the perfect costume and accessories while creating a fun and memorable shopping experience.
Work closely with the business owner and other managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Manage store social media content.
Our busiest trading season runs from
August through November
, so we're looking for someone who enjoys the excitement of high-volume retail and can confidently lead the team during this busy period.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
A minimum of




1 year of retail management experience
(essential).
Proven experience leading and motivating a team of up to 6+ people.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
A positive, team-focused attitude.
The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced retail workplace.
A genuine passion for costumes, makeup, and special effects.
Knowledge of costumes, theatrical makeup, or special effects makeup (highly regarded).
Availability to work throughout our peak trading season from
August to November
, including Saturdays.
A current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle.
