Play a key role in shaping our performance across our InfraBuild Recycling business.
Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Townsville site, the Excavator Operator will perform a range of operating duties within the metal recycling yard.
This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday with regular overtime available.
What you will be doing:
Loading and unloading trucks
Operating Excavators to sort scrap metal and performing manual handling tasks
Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
Adhering to safety procedures at all times
Pay rate -
$***** per hour + 12% super + regular overtime available during the week and on Saturday's.

What you will bring:
Basic experience operating an excavator essential, full training can be provided
Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is highly advantageous
Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
A positive mindset with a general willingness to learn
Passion for working as part of a collaborative team
