About the team:
The Facilities & Security Supervisor will play an important role in supporting the Senior Facility Manager and the rest of the Workplace Services team in in the day-to-day management of ASX's offices and data centres, ensuring that our buildings and services operate efficiently and provide a safe environment for ASX employees and Customers.
Facilities & Security Supervisor is a key member of the Workplace Services team, based in Sydney. The Workplace Services team is responsible for assisting with facilities related queries and requirements across all ASX sites, along with the management of facilities related projects
What you will be doing:
Lead and manage security operations across ASX sites, including coordination of security contract personnel and operation and administration of security functions
Serves as primary point of contact to Data Centre operations on security related matters at our critical infrastructure sites, and ensures Control Room Supervisors adhere to policies and Standard Operating Procedures
Providing the overall management and maintenance of the security access control system and software programs, to ensure quality assurance of activity records and the integrity of the systems
Assist manage ASX's automated building systems, including NFC-based mobile credential technology, desk reservation, visitor management and locker management platforms
Provide support for connected workplace service platforms to ensure a frictionless workplace experience
Conducts recurring security audits and assists with audit compliance
Provide exceptional customer service, offering technical support and advice to internal stakeholders
Maintain security policies, procedures, guidelines and other resources that deliver business outcomes
Develop close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to lead and deliver high quality outcomes
Analyse data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements and data-driven decisions
Organise extra security personnel requirements for special events (as required)
Process invoices and credit card transactions in a timely manner
Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and projects within the business
What you will bring:
Must have
Practical knowledge and experience in facilities management,
security and/or building services
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
Experience with management of access control systems
Advanced computer skills, and strong troubleshooting skills with hardware, software and network issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Robust customer service and service delivery
Demonstrated common sense and initiative
Displayed organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in data analysis and using metrics to drive decision making
Ability to interact effectively at various levels of management
Knowledge of Work Health and Safety responsibilities
Emergency management experience
Nice to have:
Experience with Control Room Operations and security technology, including access control and CCTV systems
Experience implementing digital NFC-based mobile credential technology
Experience in other occupancy related technology such as desk booking systems, BMS
Effective interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across diverse groups
Evidence of strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, with practical understanding of Microsoft Excel including dealing with large data sets.
