The Role
As a
Senior Accountant
, you'll manage your own client portfolio while playing a key role in advisory and value-add work.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
Providing business advisory services to SME clients
Assisting clients with structuring, tax planning, and cash flow management
Budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
Identifying advisory opportunities and contributing to client strategy
Direct client contact and relationship management
Mentoring and reviewing work of junior accountants
This is a role where you'll be trusted with clients, not shielded from them.
What We're Looking For
CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion)
3-6+ years' experience in Australian public practice
Robust technical skills across tax and business services
Genuine interest in advisory and client strategy
Confident communicator who enjoys working with business owners
Experience with Xero, MYOB, BGL or similar cloud platforms
