About Us:
Western CPAP is a rapidly expanding provider of comprehensive sleep and respiratory care, with locations in Rockingham and our new, purpose-built facility in Myaree.
Our clinics offer diagnostic and treatment services, including Level 2 home-based sleep studies and are soon expanding to include Level 1 in-lab sleep studies at our Myaree location.
In partnership with our associated business, Oxygen West, we offer an exciting opportunity to work across multiple aspects of sleep and respiratory care.
We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer care and the highest standard of clinical excellence, using advanced diagnostic equipment and CPAP devices from leading brands such as ResMed, Philips, Fisher and Paykel, Lowenstein, and BMC.
Positions Available:
We are currently seeking experienced CPAP Consultant/Technicians for both part-time and full-time positions at our rapidly growing Rockingham location.
Role Responsibilities:
Set up and conduct home-based sleep studies, with future opportunities for in-lab studies.
Conduct CPAP trials, providing patient education and ongoing support.
Operate diagnostic software and equipment, specifically Philips PDx, G3 software, NOX A1, and Noxturnal software.
Assist customers in selecting and using CPAP and BiPAP devices, masks, and accessories.
Maintain equipment, ensure quality assurance, and adhere to infection control standards.
Collaborate with team members across both Western CPAP and Oxygen West to deliver comprehensive respiratory solutions.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated experience in conducting CPAP trials and extensive knowledge of CPAP brands and their software platforms.
Strong experience using Philips PDx, NOX A1 diagnostic equipment, and associated software (G3 and Noxturnal preferred).
Highly motivated, positive attitude, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot software and diagnostic equipment.
Honest, reliable, and proactive with a genuine passion for patient care.
Highly regarded (but not essential):
Experience with BiPAP, ASV, and other advanced respiratory therapies.
Familiarity with Res Med Therapy Plan and Nightshift systems.
Respiratory care experience, especially with oxygen concentrators, cylinders, and oxygen therapy.
Experience in providing 6-minute walk tests and pulse dose assessments.
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification or willingness to obtain these qualifications.
