Position Profile: Director of Future Pathways
Full-time 3-year contract position commencing Term ******
Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school.
Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48-hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Acknowledging the rapid rate of change in the economic and technological landscape, and the broadening of post-secondary school pathway options, locally and internationally, Hale School is seeking a Director of Future Pathways who will play a pivotal role in delivering personalised guidance on university studies, VET programs, and other post-school options, while leading a coherent, agile, career education program aligned with the school's vision for teaching and learning.
The role requires demonstrated expertise in whole school strategic development, detailed curriculum insight, robust knowledge of post-school options, including national and international scholarship processes, and exceptional collaboration with students, families, staff, and external partners.
The successful applicant will be a registered teacher with:
demonstrated capacity to lead and manage broad, complex, operational areas
demonstrated experience in the management of pathway and vocational programs within a secondary educational setting, including high level pathways to interstate and overseas universities
a working knowledge and understanding of VET and RTO operation and compliance principles
demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement (internal and external)
demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and evaluate program outcomes
demonstrated ability to raise the aspirations of students and families for further study.
