Operating as a
Quality Manager
, you will be responsible for leading the project quality function, ensuring the effective implementation of quality management systems, compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, and delivery of quality outcomes across all phases of project execution.
You will work closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement and quality excellence.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project while leading a team of quality professionals and influencing project performance from engineering through to construction and commissioning.
About the Project
Clough is delivering the
Darwin Ship Lift Facility
for the Northern Territory Government, located in the East Arm precinct at the Port of Darwin.




This major marine infrastructure project will support the maintenance and servicing of Defence, Australian Border Force and commercial vessels.
The scope includes construction of a 5,500-tonne capacity ship lift, wet berths and hardstand areas to enable efficient vessel repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan and associated quality systems
Lead and mentor project quality personnel, including inspectors, coordinators and quality officers
Monitor project quality objectives, KPIs, NCRs, defects and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement
Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
Manage quality audits, inspections, surveillance activities and reporting requirements
Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation prior to implementation




Ensure compliance with contractual specifications, industry standards and Clough Management System requirements
Investigate quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
Qualifications
Relevant Engineering Degree, Diploma or Trade Qualification
Lead Auditor Certification
Relevant inspection qualifications in disciplines such as Welding, Mechanical, Electrical, NDT, Coatings, Structural or Pressure Equipment highly regarded
Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar quality leadership role
Demonstrated experience within construction, engineering, fabrication or major project environments
Strong stakeholder engagement, auditing, reporting and communication skills
