Join Zenith Energy and help deliver one of Australia's largest hybrid renewable energy projects.
Zenith is delivering a major new 532MW hybrid power system supporting Northern Star Resources' Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines (KCGM) operations near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
The project combines 256MW of wind generation, 138MW of solar generation and a 138MW/300MWh battery energy storage system, providing reliable, lower-emission power to one of Australia's largest gold mining operations.
HSE Advisor – KCGM Project | 2:1 FIFO Roster
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major renewable energy project where you'll help drive a proactive safety culture and support safe project delivery.
Working alongside experienced project teams, you'll provide HSE advice and build strong relationships across the site.
About the Role
As the site-based HSE Advisor, you'll work closely with the Construction Manager, project teams and contractors to champion a strong safety culture.
You'll provide expert HSE guidance, monitor compliance with Zenith's safety management systems and legislative requirements, and drive continuous improvement across all site activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and promote a strong safety culture across the project.
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company procedures and project HSE objectives.
Conduct site inspections, audits and safety evaluations.
Coordinate incident, near miss and hazard investigations, including root cause analysis.
Assess and approve contractor safety documentation.
Support the development of SWMS, SWPs and JHAs.
Coordinate emergency response activities and safety drills.
Manage permits, high-risk work compliance and HSE registers.
Deliver safety presentations, toolbox talks and training.




Liaise with corporate HSE and project stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a HSE Advisor or similar role.
Previous experience on major construction, mining or industrial projects.
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
Root Cause Analysis training.
Internal or External Auditor Certification.
Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and ISO *****, ISO **** and ISO ***** standards.
Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Current Manual C Class Driver's Licence.
Experience working on remote FIFO construction projects will be highly regarded.
