About the role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll set the tone for their entire visit.
Your day will include:
Welcoming patients and managing arrivals with warmth and efficiency
Scheduling and confirming appointments across multiple imaging modalities
Processing Medicare, DVA and private billing accurately
Handling phone and email enquiries from patients and referrers
Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting smooth clinic flow
Working closely with clinical staff to keep the day running seamlessly
Adapting comfortably to the pace and workflow of different sites, including the hospital workplace at National Capital Private Hospital
About you
Previous experience in reception or customer service.
Medical or radiology experience is a bonus, but not essential
A warm, calm and skilled manner, especially with patients who may be anxious or unwell
Strong attention to detail and confidence with computer systems
Great communication skills and a genuine team-player attitude
Comfortable travelling between sites across Belconnen, Phillip and National Capital Private Hospital
Familiarity with Medicare billing or radiology information systems
