Full Stack Developer
As FTP continues to grow, we're expanding our engineering team to build new capabilities for our Integrated Management System (IMS).
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building software that makes a tangible difference for customers in the mining and industrial sectors.
This is an opportunity to work on a mature, enterprise-scale product that continues to evolve.
You'll be part of a collaborative development team delivering new features, improving existing capabilities, and helping shape the future of our IMS Wireless Manager platform.
About the role
You'll work across the full stack, building intuitive user interfaces, scalable backend services, and data pipelines that transform live information from edge devices into meaningful insights for our customers.
Front-end
On the front end, you'll work within a large TypeScript codebase where data manipulation and innovative visualisation are central to the user experience.
Our platform includes sophisticated geospatial capabilities, so experience with—or an interest in—3D rendering and GIS concepts will be valuable.
We're passionate about building software that is both powerful and intuitive, so you'll have the opportunity to contribute to UX decisions and create clear, user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex data.
Back-end
On the back end, you'll develop services that ingest data from edge devices, transform and validate incoming information, and expose it through scalable REST APIs.
You'll work with contemporary backend technologies to build reliable, high-performance systems capable of handling real-world operational data.

What we're looking for
You'll be successful in this role if you have:
Commercial experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React or Angular.
Experience developing backend services using Python, REST APIs, Linux and SQL.
Experience working within collaborative software development teams using practices such as:
Automated testing
CI/CD
Code reviews
Agile methodologies
A passion for building maintainable, well-tested software.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
React
CesiumJS
UX/UI design
Cypress
Jest
Django
PostgreSQL
Docker
Kubernetes
Monitoring platforms such as Prometheus or SolarWinds
