About the role
ATLAS FUEL AUSTRALIA PTY LTD is seeking an experienced
Property & Commercial Solicitor
to join our legal team on a
full-time basis
at our Kwinana Beach, Western Australia office.
This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive legal services across property and commercial matters for a dynamic organisation operating in the fuel and energy sector.
You will be instrumental in supporting our business operations, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
Key responsibilities
Providing strategic legal advice on property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing arrangements and easement matters
Handling commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation across various business arrangements and vendor relationships
Managing property due diligence processes and identifying potential legal risks and liabilities
Advising on real property law matters, planning and development regulations relevant to operations in Western Australia
Ensuring compliance with property-related legislation, environmental regulations and planning requirements
Liaising with external legal counsel, property professionals, surveyors and local authorities as required
Maintaining comprehensive legal documentation and property records
Supporting senior management and stakeholders with timely, pragmatic legal counsel on commercial and property matters
Contributing to the development and refinement of legal templates, policies and procedures
Registration and transfer of Commercial and residential properties
What we're looking for
A current practising certificate as a solicitor in Western Australia, or eligible to obtain one
Minimum 5 years' post-admission experience in property law and commercial law practice
Substantial experience in property transactions, commercial contracting and real property matters




Strong knowledge of Western Australian property law, planning and development regulations
Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate commercial agreements with attention to detail and commercial awareness
Excellent communication skills with the capacity to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred experience in the energy, infrastructure or industrial sectors
