The Role:
We are seeking suitably qualified, enthusiastic and compassionate Pathology Collectors to join our dedicated team.
Full-time and part-time
opportunities are available across our Pathology Collection Centres throughout Perth's
South and South Coastal metropolitan regions
, including
Myaree, Melville, Bicton, Applecross, Ardross, Booragoon and Canning Vale
.
The primary focus of this role is on the collection of blood and other samples from patients, ensuring accordance with our procedures, while providing the patients with an exceptional, professional, and caring service.
Successful applicants must:




Hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or have significant phlebotomy experience;
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service;
Demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team with a high degree of accuracy and precision;
Be computer literate;
Have the right to work in Australia, and
Hold a WA Driver's Licence.
Previous experience in pathology and a current first aid certificate is desirable, but not essential for the right applicants.
Applicants who are close to completing their Certificate III in Pathology Collection are welcome to apply.
Successful candidates will need to provide immunisation records for Influenza, Hep B, MMR, DTP and Varicella, as well as a National Police Clearance.
