The Team
The Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Emergency Department is the primary provider of emergency care for Northern Tasmania, delivering comprehensive 24-hour services for patients presenting with conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
As part of Hospitals North, the department works collaboratively with Ambulance Tasmania, inpatient teams and community-based services to ensure safe, efficient and patient-focused care.

The Role
Support the delivery of a safe and secure Emergency Department by assisting the multidisciplinary care team, participating in security responses (including Code Black), and providing manual handling support to meet patient care needs.
You will need:
Capacity to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environmentStrong ability to collaborate and contribute positively as part of a teamDemonstrated reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic

Details of appointment
Multiple permanent, full- and part-time positions available working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possibleNote: Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies
Salary
$70,033 to $75,114 per annum + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging.




You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
