We're trusted advisers who work alongside architects, developers, government agencies and project teams to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions.About the RoleReporting directly to the Managing Director, you will provide both operational leadership and senior technical expertise across the business.You will work closely with our team of experienced Building Surveyors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, consistently and to the highest professional standard.Key responsibilities include:Leading day-to-day operations across the Building Surveying team.
Managing project workflow, resourcing and programme delivery.
Providing senior NCC and Building Code advice across a broad range of projects.
Reviewing and approving technical reports, certification and compliance documentation.
Mentoring and developing Building Surveyors and graduate staff.
Driving quality assurance, systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
Building robust relationships with clients, architects, developers and industry professionals.
Supporting business development, fee proposals and strategic growth initiatives.




Working alongside the Managing Director to help shape the future direction of TAYCON Group.
About YouYou are an experienced Building Surveyor who enjoys both technical work and leading people.You'll bring:Registration as a Level 1 (Unlimited) Building Surveyor (or equivalent).
Extensive experience in commercial Building Surveying and Certification.
Strong knowledge of the NCC, Building Act and Australian Standards.
Excellent leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
Commercial awareness and sound professional judgement.
A proactive mindset with a passion for improving systems and developing people.
