The Role
As the Health and Wellbeing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering TasWater's health and wellbeing strategy.
Partnering with leaders across the business, you will provide specialist expertise in psychosocial wellbeing, occupational health, injury management and workers compensation, driving programs and initiatives that support a safe, healthy and engaged workforce.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational support, helping to build organisational capability, manage risk and achieve sustainable health and wellbeing outcomes across the business.
Apply specialist expertise in injury management, workers compensation, and health and wellbeing to deliver effective, person-centred operational outcomes.
Partner with leaders to embed a proactive risk-based health and wellbeing culture and build organisational capability.
Oversee complex workplace injury and workers compensation cases, coordinating effective treatment, rehabilitation and sustainable return to work outcomes.
Monitor health and wellbeing performance, identify trends and opportunities for improvement,



and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance workforce safety, wellbeing and organisational outcomes.

What we're looking for
We are seeking an experienced health and wellbeing professional who can influence leaders, manage complex workplace health matters, and drive positive workforce outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in injury management, occupational health and wellbeing, along with the ability to build trusted relationships, lead initiatives and champion a proactive, risk-based approach to health and wellbeing across the organisation.
Relevant qualification or equivalent demonstrated capability in occupational health and safety, psychology, or allied health.
Demonstrated experience independently leading delivery of health and wellbeing programs in a high risk environment and provide specialist advice on complex organisational matters.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and key stakeholders to shape the strategic direction of health and wellbeing programs.
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with strong analytical, risk management and problem-solving capabilities
Adaptable and resilient, with a passion for building safe, healthy and high-performing workplaces while supporting continuous improvement and positive change

The Details
This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of
$135,072- $150,080 (inclusive of superannuation)
