This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment
for 6 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Position Profile: We are
currently seeking to appoint a Fleet Coordinator.
The Fleet Coordinator Coordinates a WACHS
wide Fleet operations and projects, from development to
implementation ensuring relevant stakeholders are engaged and
compliance requirements and objectives met.
It also supports
continuous improvement initiatives, and stakeholder engagement to
maintain safe and high-quality Fleet Management within healthcare
environments.
Area Profile: The WA
Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system
in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing
health services to approximately half a million people, including
45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million
square kilometre area.
The organisation comprises seven
regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services
and health centres located across rural and remote Western
Australia.
Our core business is the provision of quality,
accessible health services to country WA residents and
visitors.

abilities, behaviours, ethical alignment and relevant operational
requirements.
The suitability requirements below are derived from
the Job Description Form and define what will be assessed to
determine your suitability for the role:
Demonstrated understanding of Government
vehicle policies in an operational environment, including the
ability to record, monitor, escalate and report changing
risks.
Knowledge of asset management principles and
financial controls and their practical application within a fleet
management context.
Demonstrated highly developed conceptual and
analytical skills.
Well-developed organisational and time
management skills, including the ability to manage work tasks with
minimal direction in a complex environment

unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of employment being
withdrawn.

Whilst this selection
process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for
other 'similar' vacancies within WACHS and/or the wider WA public
sector.
In addition to this, should the successful applicant

suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.

these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from
when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
