We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable
Portables Fire Technician
to join our growing team.
About the Role
As a Portables Fire Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing, maintaining and installing portable fire equipment in accordance with Australian Standards and relevant legislation.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of sites, build strong client relationships and contribute to ensuring the safety and compliance of our customers' fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, test, service, and maintain portable fire equipment, including:
Fire extinguishers
Fire blankets
Hose reels
Emergency Lighting (if licensed)
Complete works in accordance with Australian Standards and industry regulations.
Identify and report defects, non-compliances, and maintenance requirements.
Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service and technical advice to clients.
Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally.
Participate in scheduled training and development programs.




About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
Experience servicing portable fire equipment (preferred but not essential).
Current driver's licence.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Desirable
Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
Accreditation and experience in portable fire equipment testing and maintenance.
Knowledge of Australian Standards AS **** and AS/NZS ****.
Construction Industry White Card.
Experience using mobile service and compliance reporting systems.
