A psychology role designed around you.
At Psychsense, we're passionate about making high-quality psychological support more accessible for our regional community.
We believe the best way to achieve that is by building a team of clinicians who are supported to do their best work.
Whether you're passionate about therapy, assessments, neurodiversity-affirming practice, workplace wellbeing, or working with families and communities, we'll work with you to create a role that reflects your strengths, interests and professional goals.
If you're looking for flexibility, autonomy and meaningful variety in your work, we'd love to hear from you.
About Psychsense
Psychsense Therapeutic Services is a locally owned psychology practice in Geraldton, supporting children, adults, families and workplaces across the Midwest.
We're not a traditional private practice.
We enjoy developing innovative programs, partnering with local organisations and finding creative ways to make high-quality psychological support more engaging, practical and accessible for our community.
Our clinicians work across therapy, assessments, neurodiversity-affirming practice, Employee Assistance Programs, Positive Behaviour Support, workshops, schools and community initiatives.
The work is varied, practical, and community-focused.
Your role
As a Psychologist at Psychsense, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological services within a team-oriented and supportive multidisciplinary environment.
We recognise that every clinician brings different strengths, interests and career aspirations,
and we actively support the development of a role that aligns with your professional goals.
Your caseload may include therapeutic intervention, psychological assessment, parent and caregiver support, behavioural consultation, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services or other clinical areas that reflect your experience and interests.
Opportunities are available to work with children, adolescents, adults or families across Medicare, NDIS, private and workplace wellbeing referral pathways.
In addition to direct clinical work, you will collaborate with families, educators, health professionals and other stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes for clients.
You will be encouraged to contribute to service development, creative programs and community initiatives, while receiving regular supervision, professional development and peer support to continue growing your clinical practice.
What we offer
At Psychsense, we recognise that providing high-quality psychological care begins with supporting our clinicians.
We are committed to fostering a professional, collaborative and flexible workplace where psychologists are empowered to deliver evidence-based practice while maintaining a sustainable work-life balance.
We offer genuine flexibility in employment arrangements, including full-time, part-time, casual and FIFO opportunities, with the ability to tailor work schedules where possible.
Clinicians are supported through regular clinical supervision, professional development opportunities, access to quality therapeutic resources and strong administrative systems that enable them to focus on delivering exceptional client care.
Our team values collaboration, continuous learning and innovation, creating an environment where clinicians are encouraged to develop their areas of interest and contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice.
About You
We are seeking motivated and compassionate psychologists who are committed to delivering high-quality, client-centred care.
You will demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, effective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, colleagues and external stakeholders.
You will value collaborative practice, uphold professional and ethical standards, and have a genuine commitment to ongoing learning and development.
Applications are welcomed from Provisional Psychologists, Registered Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Endorsed Psychologists who hold, or are eligible to obtain, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
