About Perth Football League
Perth Football League (
PFL
) is the largest independent community football league in WA, administering competitions and programs, and providing support and resources for the benefit of seventy member clubs and 12,500+ participants who take part in Men's, Women's, Colts and All Abilities competitions across the entire Perth metropolitan area.

The Opportunity
We are on the hunt for a Competition Integrity Officer.
The Competition Integrity Officer will play a critical role in supporting PFL clubs to meet their obligations in maintaining the competition's integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Investigations & Reviews:
· Assess, investigate and resolve alleged breaches of PFL By-Laws, AFL policies, codes of conduct and other integrity-related requirements.
· Manage complaints, referrals and disclosures, including matters involving vilification, discrimination, safeguarding, member protection and whistleblower reports.
· Prepare investigation documentation, findings and recommendations, and support appropriate sanctions, referrals and corrective actions.
Vilification Prevention, Member Protection & Safeguarding:
· Assess and manage complaints relating to vilification, discrimination, safeguarding and member protection.
· Coordinate appropriate resolution, welfare referral and education responses in line with AFL policies and PFL procedures.
Policy Development & Compliance Management:
· Develop, implement and review integrity policies, procedures and compliance frameworks aligned with PFL governance requirements and AFL policies.
· Monitor compliance with PFL By-Laws, AFL policies, integrity requirements, sanctions, undertakings and League directions.
· Maintain compliance records and provide advice,
reports and recommendations on significant risks, breaches and emerging integrity issues.
Integrity Audits & Assurance:
· Develop and deliver integrity audit programs across affiliated clubs.
· Assess compliance with integrity, governance, financial and regulatory requirements.
· Report on audit findings, risks and recommendations, and monitor corrective actions.
Stakeholder Relations:
· Act as a key integrity contact for clubs and stakeholders, building positive relationships while maintaining independence and procedural fairness.
· Liaise with clubs, committees, AFL bodies, WA football stakeholders, legal advisers and relevant agencies on integrity matters.
· Provide regular integrity updates, reports and recommendations to the CEO, Board and relevant committees.
Promotion of the League and Collaboration:
· Promote a culture of integrity, accountability and transparency, and model PFL's values.
· Develop resources and initiatives that strengthen integrity, governance and compliance capability.
· Collaborate across PFL to support continuous improvement and strategic integrity initiatives.
Intelligence, Risk Management & Reporting:
· Receive, assess and manage confidential intelligence, disclosures and whistleblower information.
· Identify and report on emerging integrity risks, threats, trends and vulnerabilities.
· Prepare integrity reports and use data insights to recommend governance, policy and risk management improvements.
Education & Prevention:
· Develop, deliver and evaluate integrity education and prevention initiatives for clubs and participants.
· Provide guidance and resources on integrity, compliance, safeguarding, member protection and reporting obligations.
· Support early identification and prevention of integrity issues and promote a safe, fair and respectful sporting environment.
Role Requirements
· Demonstrated experience conducting investigations
· Diploma or higher qualification in Investigations, Law, Criminology, Compliance, Governance or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
· Availability to work outside normal business hours and travel as required to attend matches, hearings and League events
· Valid driver's licence.
· National Police Certificate
· Working with Children Check
· Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
