About the Role
This is a varied, people-focused role at the heart of our Work Health & Safety team, a great fit for someone who loves keeping things organised and also enjoys getting out from behind the desk to build genuine relationships.
As our Administration Assistant, you'll be the engine room behind our WHS systems and our subcontractor engagement.
No two days look quite the same.
You'll:
Manage subcontractor onboarding from start to finish, requesting, reviewing and organising documentation through our cloud-based platform (Lucidity) to keep everyone compliant with our WHS Management System
Be a friendly first port of call for system support, including running training sessions so our teams feel confident using our WHS tools
Coordinate the distribution of WHS policies, procedures and safety bulletins, keeping communication transparent and consistent across the Group
Keep our safety records accurate and up to date through simple, effective document control
Schedule and support safety forums, meetings and engagement activities, from logistics through to record keeping
Beyond the systems side, you'll help lead our subcontractor (subbie) engagement initiatives.
You'll be a key point of contact for our trade event calendar, merchandise campaigns and events, working closely with our construction teams to bring it all together.
There's a hands-on, field-based element too, running giveaways and competitions, getting out on the ground, and helping strengthen the relationships that matter to our business.
The role is designed to grow with you.
Over time it will broaden into a wider administrative position with a strong focus on managing Lucidity, subcontractor onboarding, training coordination and events,
so there's real scope to develop and make it your own.
About You
You're an organised, switched-on person who brings warmth and positive energy to a team.
You take pride in getting the details right, and you're just as happy picking up the phone, helping at an event, or having a chat with our subbies on site.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Around a year of administrative experience in an office or similar environment
Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail
A friendly, confident communication style and the ability to work well across different teams
Comfort working with systems, databases or software (for example Excel, or compliance and incident management platforms)
A proactive, can-do approach and the kind of energy that brings people along with you
Experience in WHS administration or training would be a bonus, but it's not essential, if this sounds like you and you're keen to learn, we'd genuinely encourage you to apply, even if you don't tick every box.
