Boab Metals Limited is progressing the development of the Sorby Hills Project, located 50 km northeast of Kununurra in the East Kimberley.
Sorby Hills is Australia's largest undeveloped near-surface lead–silver deposit, supported by granted mining leases, EPA approval, and proximity to established infrastructure, including Wyndham Port only 150 km away.
With permitting and infrastructure already in place, Sorby Hills is uniquely positioned for fast-track production.
Alongside Sorby Hills, Boab is actively exploring its 100%-owned Manbarrum and Eight Mile Creek prospects, strengthening our growth pipeline across the region.
About the position for Sorby Hills Project
Boab Metals Limited is seeking a Management Accountant reporting to the General Manager Finance.
The Management Accountant is responsible for the provision of accurate and timely monthly project cost reports, including analytical reviews, variance and cost-to-complete analysis, budgets and forecasts, general ledger reconciliations and assisting with end of month processes.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, strong personal drive, and a collaborative approach to achieving results, underpinned by integrity and professional respect.
The Management Accountant will operate in accordance with company policies and protocols, ensuring all legislative, regulatory,



and statutory obligations are met while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and governance.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
· Prepare and perform analytical reviews of monthly project cost reports
· Conduct regular cost‐to‐complete analyses to monitor project performance against approved budgets
· Identify and report on cost variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective action
· Monitor project expenditure, track commitments, and prepare financial forecasts
· Ensure Fixed Asset register is maintained including timely capitalisations and disposals, and appropriate depreciation methods are applied.
· Preparation of budgets and periodic rolling forecasts as required
· Develop and maintain financial models to support business and project decision‐making
· Assist financial accountant with end of month processes and journals
Skills and Experience:
· Tertiary Degree in Accounting or relevant qualifications
· Completed or working towards CA/CPA
· Minimum of 3 years' experience within the resources sector
· Experience with Pronto is desirable
· Proven experience working with accounting software packages and financial systems
· Candidates must be Australian permanent residents or citizens only.
