As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Underground Electrician to join the team on a full-time basis, working an 8/6 roster.
These roles are integral to delivering safe,productiveand efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
Install,maintain, and repair underground electrical systems, including power, lighting, and control circuitDiagnose and fault-find electrical issues to minimise downtime and keep operations running safelyConduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on underground equipmentEnsure all workcomplies withsafety regulations, procedures, and electrical standardsCollaborate with supervisors and other trades to support daily production and maintenance activitiesComplete job documentation, reports, and isolation procedures accurately and on timePrevious demonstrated experience working as an electrician, preferrably in an underground miningRelevant Trade qualification as an Electrician (or equivalent)Current WA Electrical LicenseHigh voltage switching certificate (within 2 years is desirable)Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)What Can We Offer You?
