As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the friendly voice and trusted advisor!
You'll be supporting our customers across phone, email, and in-branch enquiries working with the Sales Team to enhance our offering – all while leveraging your skills to grow and develop your career.
Based in our Mackay branch, this is a permanent, full time role with a national brand (backed by Wesfarmers) where you'll be working amongst a friendly and supportive team of stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days look the same – you'll be at the heart of our customer experience by:
Responding to sales enquiries within our branch or via phone and emailBuilding engaging relationships with our customers and internal teams everydayParts interpretation and product identification to suit customer requirementsProcessing and data entry of orders, quotes, and end-to-end customer interactionsProviding product-based information and cross-selling where relevantEnsuring requests are actioned in a timely manner within allocated timeframes
Skills You'll Bring
Experience within a Sales or Customer Service environmentAbility to interpret product and technical drawingsParts interpretation and technical catalogue navigationAdvisory abilities in explaining price, availability,



and alternative product optionsAbility to work unsupervised within a small teamExcellent verbal and written communicationComprehensive computer literacy specifically with Excel and WordStrong time management skills with a solution focused approach to problem solvingBe safety minded and promote all things safety within our branchExperience in the lifting and heavy rigging industry welcomed but not essential
