This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.Business Unit: OperationsDate: 28 Jul ****Requisition ID: ****About The PositionCoordinate access and monitor construction, installation, maintenance and commissioning works undertaken on all Snowy Hydro sites by both internal and contractor work teams to ensure that safe working practices are employed, that the agreed scope of work is completed efficiently and that the finished work meets the prescribed quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLiaising with the Customer/Stakeholder and working through the application process to set up site access and organise the necessary approvals and permitsContributing to the project's risk assessments and management plansContributing to the development of inspection and commissioning plans for the workChecking and verifying the mandatory training and safety documentationContributing and assisting the Project Team in multiple phases of project deliveryCommunicating with regional work groups on project updatesActively inspecting and reviewing the work for changed and/or unforeseen hazards and ensuring that appropriate risk controls are put in placeLeading regular coordination discussions with contractors and supervisors to ensure necessary resources are plannedMaintaining site documentations such as programs, daily site diaries, daily reports and risk assurances,



as required under the project management planAbout the locationThis position is an on-site role (100% site based) located in Jindabyne, NSW, working a 9 day fortnightAbout YouA technical background (trade certificate) and experience in the management of construction work, ideally with 10+ years heavy industry experienceWell-developed site supervision and site management skills, including leadership, logistics, organisational and contract managementGood knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, environmental controls, risk assessment methods and preparation of site management documentationThe ability to read and understand work scopes, technical specifications and drawings and conceive suitable and safe methods to complete worksKnowledge of equipment, materials, technical standards, methods and systems used in construction workDemonstrated flexibility and competent problem-solving skillsExperience in the development and maintenance of project schedulesTeam focused, encouraging and supporting the people we work with by sharing knowledge and communicating openlyApplications close on 20 August ****About Our WorkforceDiversity and inclusion is important to us.
