Your part in our UnitingCare teamYou'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
With no two days ever the same, you'll spend your time on the road completing your scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients and their loved ones within their homes completing activities that include:In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry & ironingMust be available to drive between clients with your own vehicleHours are mainly Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pmProviding care in accordance with their individualised Care PlanSupporting with community based recreational and social activitiesTransportation and assistance with shopping and appointmentsWhat makes a difference for us?
Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent support to clients and co-workersAble to effectively communicate in spoken and written EnglishExperience working in the Disability, Aged and Community sector is ideal but not essential – as long as you have positive attitude and a willingness to learnA current NDIS Worker screening checkCurrent CPR and First Aid Certificate (required before you start)Open Drivers License and access to vehicleCar Insurance that is in your nameWhat makes a difference for you?
