A dynamic and innovative accounting practice is expanding its Business Advisory and Tax team and is seeking to appoint an Intermediate Accountant.
This position suits someone with 2–3 years' experience in Australian public practice who is working towards their CA or CPA qualification and eager to build their skills across a diverse client base in Adelaide and surrounding areas.The Role:Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, with exposure to agribusiness and rural enterprisesPrepare BAS, IAS and FBT lodgements under supervisionAssist with the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns, including Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculationsSupport the delivery of proactive advice to help clients improve performance and plan for the futureContribute to business advisory projects alongside experienced team membersLiaise with the ATO and other external stakeholders as requiredMaintain accurate and compliant client recordsBegin building client relationships under the guidance of senior staffThe Individual:2-3 years' experience within an Australian public practice environmentCurrently working towards CA or CPA qualificationSome exposure to agribusiness or primary production clients is advantageous but not essentialSound technical knowledge with developing analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication skills with a willingness to grow in client-facing situationsInclusive and energetic team culture with regular social events and team activitiesStructured mentoring program and dedicated study support for CA/CPA candidatesModern, cloud-based systems and a technology-forward working environmentCompetitive salary package commensurate with experiencePlease note you must be an Australian citizen (or permanent resident), a New Zealand citizen or hold a current Australian Work Visa to apply.
