About The RoleFTI Consulting Australia Forensic & Litigation Consulting brings together experts from a range of disciplines to solve complex problems for our clients facing legal or regulatory threats, or involved in sale-of-business transactions.
Often working on large high-profile domestic and international engagements, we provide financial expertise to complex litigation and arbitration matters, conduct contentious and non-contention business valuations, investigate financial dealings and build frameworks for our clients to minimise financial risks.What You'll DoAs a Graduate, working on client matters under the supervision of senior members of the team, your projects will include the quantification of financial losses suffered by businesses, investigating financial matters, and valuing shares, businesses, financial instruments and intangible assets.Quantifying loss and damage in commercial disputes, including reviewing business records, performing financial analysis, and creating financial modelsExecuting a wide range of valuation engagements,
including company and industry analysis, reviewing accounting data and performing financial and comparable company analysisUndertaking investigations, including fraud, misconduct and regulatory compliance engagements, by analysing a range of financial and non-financial sources, and documenting the processes undertaking and findings madeWorking with large data sets, including utilising data analytical toolsSupporting day-to-day engagement execution, including interaction with clients, financiers, auditors, tax advisors and legal advisorsAssisting with the preparation of reports and presentationsContributing to company initiatives and team development activitiesHow You'll GrowAssigned a buddy and a coach to ensure a smooth transition to working lifeYou will benefit from on-the-job training and coachingSupport in undertaking an appropriate accounting qualification such as CA/CFALearn from senior management in the team and work on large multi-jurisdictional engagements around the worldExposure to our wide-ranging client base, including lawyers, corporates, government regulators, and banks.Strong knowledge of the legal process, especially regarding litigation, fraud and compliance issues.The opportunity to participate in business development and marketing activitiesYou will be part of our Graduate Development Program - a learning curriculum designed to support your developmentWhat You'll Need to SucceedBachelor/Master's degree majoring in Accounting and/or FinanceCuriosity, an inquisitive mindset and a passion for solving problems,
