We're looking for a practical, safety-focused all-rounder to join our Commercial team in Hobart.About the role:This is a hands-on role where no two days look exactly the same.
You'll support commercial tree work across Hobart and surrounding areas, operating an EWP and other machinery depending on your experience, while also helping the crew with hand cutting and general tree work when machinery-based work is quieter.Operating an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) or machinery, depending on your skills and experienceCompleting hand cutting, chipping, site clean-up and general crew dutiesSupporting safe and efficient commercial vegetation management worksWorking outdoors across a range of sites throughout Hobart and surrounding areasBeing part of a crew that values teamwork, safety and getting the job done wellWhy choose Active?

What we're looking for:Previous experience in tree work, vegetation management, arboriculture or a similar outdoor operational roleEWP experience or machinery experience (highly regarded)A willingness to jump in and help with hand cutting and general crew duties when neededMR/HR Truck licence (highly regarded)Chainsaw operation qualifications or experience (highly regarded)A robust focus on safety, teamwork and doing quality workGreat, but not essential:White cardFirst aid/CPRWho are Active?
