John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School is seeking an experienced, compassionate and inspirational educational leader to join our Leadership Team as Director of Teaching and Learning (Pre -Kindergarten – Year 4).
This newly created position forms part of a broader restructure of the School Executive Team, designed to strengthen leadership capacity, enhance strategic alignment across the School and further elevate our commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
The restructure reflects the School's ongoing growth and provides greater focus on academic leadership, curriculum innovation and educational outcomes, ensuring that every student is supported to achieve their full potential.
This is an exciting chance for an experienced and forward-thinking educator who is passionate about teaching and learning and committed to fostering a culture of high expectations, continuous improvement and academic excellence.
Working closely with the Principal, Executive Team and teaching staff, the successful applicant will play a key role in shaping and leading contemporary educational practices that enhance student engagement, achievement and growth across the Junior School.
The Director of Teaching and Learning (Pre-Kindergarten – Year 4) will provide strategic leadership in curriculum development, pedagogical excellence, assessment and reporting,



staff professional growth and data-informed improvement initiatives.
They will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and reflective practice, ensuring students are challenged, supported and inspired to achieve success academically and develop a lifelong love of learning.
